If cookie cutter neighborhoods and homes are not for you, you're in luck. The neighborhood: The historic Montgomery district of Savannah is a community comprised of diverse backgrounds. It's filled with character, wherein the working class and wealthy coincide. Unlike HOA communities, which are rigidly conformed, your neighborhood's community experiences more freedom in its ability to live, landscape, park, and live however it desires. Unlike the majority of Savannah, according to mapping resources, the neighborhood is one of Savannah's safest areas. Although some surrounding homes may appear unmaintained, your safety is more maintained here than in the majority of Savannah's areas. The home: Just as the neighborhood exudes a historic and diverse atmosphere, the home's authentic 1979 brick build and original windows provide a humble and down-to-Earth experience. Original bathrooms host an experience not of modern and luxurious appeal, but cozy charm. Overall, the area exudes more of a peaceful country ambience as opposed to urban convenience. Its close proximity to Skidaway's islandic life is accentuated with Spanish moss lined roadways accompanied by the Vernon and Moon rivers' faint marshy aroma.

Other Details to Note

Long-term are welcomed and encouraged! A rental agreement will need to be signed for stays over 30 days. Note: the duplex's adjacent unit, Unit A, may be occupied by the property owner or other short term rental guests during your stay. Your unit is completely private and separate; the only shared space is the yard access. All I ask is that you maintain a respectful noise level for your friendly neighbors. While the duplex offers convenient proximity to beautiful beaches and kayaking, please note that private beach access is not available, and kayaks are not included in your stay. This vacation rental is a certified rental through Chatham County of Savannah, Georgia. Its permit code is STR23208

Great and comfortable stay! Pretty central to all the sites and nice and quiet area. Logan is a very attentive host, wanted to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. 10/10

Logan was a responsive host from start to finish. He communicated clearly, set expectations, provided great recommendations on the area's activities and amenities. He thought of all that was needed for our stay. I definitely would recommend the stay to others, and stay at Logan's place again. All my other 5 guests agreed too.

2 parking spaces will be available on the right side of the front driveway. If driving more than one car, please park one car behind the other. Additional on-street parking along Mendel Avenue may be available, but is not guaranteed. Footsteps away from the home is a convenience store with snacks, and a bus stop with transportation to Savannah's Southside. Nearby local attractions: If you'd prefer to venture beyond the duplex's secluded and spacious backyard, take a five minute drive over to Butterbean Beach for kayaking (or tanning). Or, if you want to connect with nature and spot a couple exotic creatures, head over to Skidaway Island State Park. Connect with nature and Savannah's islandic culture at the following local attractions: -0.9 miles to Montgomery Boat Ramp (bring your own kayak) -2.3 miles from the Frank O.
